I have a bad habit of buying any and every book that I find remotely interesting. I spent hours in Barnes and Noble, wandering and perusing the shelves, never leaving without spending at least $100. Once I bought a Nook, and realized that all it took was one click to buy a book, well let’s just say my credit card bill was noticeably higher. My discovery of Goodreads again added to this habit. Last night, I couldn’t help buying Insurgent regardless of the fact that my to-read list was already a mile long. Unfortunately, many good books go by the way side in my haste to read a newer, more hyped book. SO, I have decided that for the rest of the year I will make an effort every month to read books already in my personal library. Since I have paperbacks, nook books, and audible books, this is a major undertaking. To keep myself honest, I am going to list the books that I plan on reading/listening to every month in advance.
